Watermark or not?
Recently I have discovered that my pictures are used on various blogs, websites and even on flickr without my permission or that they link back or give me credit for the pictures… So I’m somewhat unsure what to do. I don’t like to watermark my photos, I think it disturbs the pictures a bit. But it REALLY disturbs me to see my work being used without me having any benefits or acknowledgment.

Jag håller med dig om problematiken... Just nu har jag inte orkat hålla på så mkt med vattenstämplar, men jag brukar göra en som är liksom genomskinlig. Då kan ingen låtsas att det är deras bild, samtidigt som den inte stör så mycket. Annars tycker jag att din vattenstämpel ser fin ut :)
Med så himla fina foton som du tar tycker jag ABSOLUT att du ska köra med märkning! Det såg dessutom fint ut även om jag förstår vad du menar, det är ju finare utan men jag tycker ändå att du ska ha det.
Either way is good. I am a professional photographer out of NYC and I do not watermark. I think sometimes I should. Do you know about metadata? It is a function where you can embed info right INTO your photo so anyone who finds your image can see who shot the image, where, when, contact info. Anything really.
Here is an organization that promotes the idea. I need to do this more. I am with Getty Stock agency and absolutely all the pics they post must have metadata. Of course I am way behind with my other pics!
